Shabbat & Chagim

Every Shabbat feels like coming home.

Warm challah, meaningful conversations, inspiring Torah, new friendships, and a welcoming community around the table. Whether you're joining us for your first Shabbat or your fiftieth, there's always a place waiting for you. Throughout the year, we also celebrate the Jewish holidays together, creating meaningful experiences that connect us to our heritage and to one another.

Reserve for Shabbat

Every single week

You always have a place at our Shabbat table.

Every week of the year we host a full Friday night dinner and Shabbat day lunch. Israeli Chabad is the only Jewish organization in San Antonio that hosts both meals every single week, all year round. Whether you're traveling alone, visiting family, attending a celebration, or just passing through for the weekend, you'll always have a warm place at our table.

Your first Shabbat

A few answers to the questions people ask first

Do I need to know the service?

No. Follow along, sing what you know, ask whoever is next to you.

Do I need to "belong"?

No. There is no membership. If you're here, you belong.

Is the food kosher?

Yes — and there's wine.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes. Kids are genuinely welcome, at the table and running around it.
